Bus Ride to Vizcaya Station (Reimagined), 2026.
Dade County Public Schools was one of the last school districts in the country to desegregate.
Magnet schools were created as a desegregation effort, but the district was too cheap to bus us all home so a bus would drop us at the Vizcaya metro station.
One day a boat of refugees landed on the shore during dismissal. The government said the people who risked their lives in a dingy broken down boat for freedom were not refugees.
